Summary: Great proximity to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet & cute. The house itself met all of our needs just fine but could use some TLC as far as aesthetics & cleanliness. Lots of little things that could use attention, like door handles & knobs, outlets & doors. The master shower door is not secure & even a piece of it came apart & the folding door to the bathroom is a whole broken mess. The water closet door doesn't latch so you can’t close it all the way & lock it. Also, the mattress could stand to be replaced. You will need some sort of degree to figure out the lights & fans in this place. The listing says it sleeps 10 but realistically more than 9 people is too many for this space. 2 of those 9 people would be sleeping on the fold out couch in the living room with no privacy. They allow dogs & there is a fenced-in yard, so that was good. The kitchen has the basics but could use another couple of skillets & definitely more silverware. In my opinion, & to be totally honest, whoever is cleaning this place should be fired. The kitchen is dirty with food & drink spilled down the sides and fronts of the cupboards & drawers which is clearly obvious so shouldn’t be missed during cleaning. Behind the faucets in the bathrooms were filthy and clearly not thoroughly cleaned & the space under the TV in the living room is full of dust & dust bunnies. On the positive side, the walk to the beach is convenient & overall it’s a nice quiet place and close enough to all the touristy areas.
