Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped and appears to have been recently fitted with a new kitchen and bathroom. The terrace, with mountain views, was a lovely spot for breakfast or an evening glass of wine. Collection of keys was straightforward and whilst the apartment is located on the edge of town it's convenient for supermarkets and a bus stop in to town. Alternatively, the walk along the lake to the centre is very pleasant.

Negative: We were somewhat surprised by a request for a security deposit of CHF259 just 10 days before our arrival. This was bad form as we had paid in full and the latest we could cancel the booking was 60 days prior to arrival! We did pay and we have subsequently received the payment back but found this very rude as there was no mention of it in my booking terms and due to the late timing we would have found it difficult to find somewhere else to stay even without considering the implication of the cancellation / payment terms.
