Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We had a great time at Arinna Beach Resort. It's newly opened and everything felt super fresh. It's right on a beautiful beach that felt quiet and we spent our days just chilling in the sun lounger. It's a small resort with only 12 rooms which we enjoyed as the staff knew who we were and there was always a free spot in the shade and at the restaurant. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. We ended up having most of our meals at the restaurant. The food was delicious (both the Sri Lankan and western options), amazing cocktails (the passion fruit mojito was to die for), and very reasonable prices. The service was excellent.

Negative: These are tiny things as we had an overall amazing stay, but it would have been nice with a mirror in the bedroom, more towel racks in the bathroom (there wasn't space to let all our towels dry), and from the private pool, the metal/mesh fence did ruin the beautiful view a little, maybe a wooden fence or some more plants would have been better to cover the metal.
