Summary: Chose property for proximity to area my family stayed when I was a little girl in the 70s. Have been feeling nostalgic and wanted to take a trip back in time with modern amenities.We could not have found a better property or host. Steven was there to greet us and share his memories of the area from same time period. Having spent his child and the ensuing years in the area, he has created a lovely compound with 2 guest homes and a warm and welcome vibe.We stayed in 2 bedroom where my sister and her 2 young adult kids joined us for overnight stay. It was very comfortable for the 5 of us and our 2 dogs.The home is very clean and well stocked. The photos are spot on and we enjoyed the peaceful location with close proximity to lake.Steve has a camper set up next to lake area for lighting and accessiblity to cold drinks. There is a lovely swing area to sit and enjoy the view as well as fire pit, lakeside, to enjoy the serenity of the location.We were accommodated with early check in and late check out to give us time to maximize our time and get to visit all the areas we had hopes to see without feeling time pressure which was greatly appreciated.Highly recommend as a peaceful escape that isn’t too far from NYC. We know we’ll be repeat visitors and look forward to making new memories in the area with comfort of a home away from home!
