Lake Levels: After Labor Day, the lake levels drop to winter levels. This can make launching boats and kayaks more challenging if not impossible. Fishing from the bank is not possible due to lower lake levels. Please be aware of this if you're planning on using the lake for water or fishing activities. Fishing and a boat ramp are available at other areas around the lake, such as Paris Landing State Park
Kayaks: Available for use April through November. They're stored for winter between December 1st and March 31st.
