In this house, bought in mid-2017 abandoned and part of which is still being restored, rental of a comfortable cottage for 2 to 4 people. Exposed stone walls or whitewashed, beams, beautiful fireplace.
Typical setting of the region (cellars in the rock, well, press, bread oven) on an enclosed courtyard of 100 m2 where cars and motorbikes can be parked. Note: if desired, the motorbikes can be parked in one of the cellars dug in the tufa surrounding the courtyard.
Access to the gîte is from the courtyard by a staircase of 5 dressed stone steps (no disabled access).
Upon entering, a large living room includes the living room, with convertible corner sofa (130 x 200 bed) and TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, table for 4 people. and chimney (inactive).
A small corridor leads to the bathroom with walk-in shower, the separate toilet and a bedroom (160 x 200 cm bed).

The house is located 2 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from the swimming pool or the beach (Montrichard has a beautiful sandy beach, very busy in season), 30 minutes from the Beauval zoo (first zoo in France known for its pandas, its hippo aquarium, its white tigers) and 15 minutes from the Château de Chenonceau (also accessible from the house by bike in 20 minutes via the landscaped banks of the Cher). First French cycling tourism destination, along the Loire and the Cher.
