Positive: The concierge was great. Friendly, helpful. He did a couple of things for me. Sorting out a minor issue. Having opening windows in the room is so much nicer than otherwise. Bed super-comfortable.

Negative: TV service very basic. Nothing in English. No option for smart TV. There's no need for this in 2025. I fully understand that this is Germany, but for tourists, this is essential. I booked for location but had missed the fact that breakfast was not included or available on-site. But a 200m walk in the rain to get to where it was available and to the bar facilities is hostel-like, not hotel-like. Light switching in the room was difficult to work out and over-complicated. Window frames appeared not to have been washed for a long time and the glazing was dirty.

Summary: OK to crash, but not a destination hotel.
