Our comfortable one bedroom cottage with sun-room (In the winter months it is very pleasant on sunny day will allow you to relax after a day of exploring the island. It comfortably fits two and is centrally located. A easy 15 minute drive to most attractions. Dog friendly. Please let us know if you are bringing a pet.

The space
YANKEE CREEK FARM is Located 2.5 miles from the town of Friday Harbor. It is the historic homestead of the King family. The original home built in 1897. Back in the day, it was a dairy farm producing milk, cream & butter.
The guest cottage has pastoral views overlooking a wetland that is home to many migrating birds. It has one queen bed, a full bath, kitchen(no stove or oven welcome to use kitchen in main house)/living room, with a comfortable attached sun-room.
Because the guest cottage only has one bedroom, we would prefer a couple. However, additional guests can utilize the hide-abed for an additional cost of $30 per person, with prior approval.
The kitchen is small but well apportioned with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker & Coffee/tea, toaster, electric skillet , blender, etc. A BBQ patio area is also attached. Hair dryer. Satellite TV, internet and texting are included while cell phone reception can be spotty. (T-Mobil works great)
We welcome your dog, you are welcome to use the attached kennel while you explore all that the Islands have to offer, such as whale watching, bike riding, the farmers market, or just a quiet meal in town. $30. extra for your whole stay. Second dog $10.
Guest access
You are welcome to explore the farm. If you have a dog there is plenty of space to walk and play. I have a large fenced yard which your dog will be welcome to hang out with my three cockers if they get along.
It is also a nice neighborhood for a walk or run with no traffic.
