OMG! What a rare and unique find! From the beautifully pruned and maintained 100+ year old trees in the front yard to the vintage & cozy vibes on the interior, this one is a must stay! Everything you need and want for modern day conveniences while harmonizing nostalgic feelings that one can occasionally get from a glimpse back in time to simpler and easier days in times past! SoCozyBlue is one of three, independent units without any shared interior entrances/space ... Y`all come back now!

Private gated entrances with one reserved parking space underneath a 3-car carport! Additionally, there is complimentary parking on the street if preferred.
Wow, Wow, Wow! It`s so convenient with an urban vibe - but super serene with birds, rabbits, and squirrels. Walk and enjoy park two blocks away, and enjoy uptown, downtown, Oak Lawn neighborhoods. It`s vintage charm with diverse architecture. Bikes and exercising is easy and fun!
Uber and/or Lyft are easy and ready on demand within two-three minutes. Also, bus stop just around the corner.
Speaking of buses (and rail), Dallas-Fort Worth also has an app called ‘GoPass’. This app is public transportation made easy in DFW. Purchase your bus and rail tickets right from your phone. And the Trip Planner feature gives you step by step directions with ETA for two-three unique travel options from place of origin to your destination.
Buy your DART, The T, TRE and DCTA tickets through the GoPass app, available for Android phones and iPhones.
The app is FREE from the Googl Play Store or Apple App Store. Before you can use the app to purchase tickets, you must register your phone number in a one-time setup.
All tickets are delivered to your phone as `Not Yet Activated.` You can purchase tickets up to 60 days in advance of using them. You must activate your ticket before boarding and show the ticket on your smartphone to the bus driver or fare enforcement officer when required.
Note: It`s important to be aware that there will be foot noise from unit directly above this one. The building was built in 1925 as a duplex with one unit up and one unit down (separate front/back doors to each unit with no shared space). This is what makes it such a special and charming place; nevertheless, there`s original hardwood floors in the upstairs unit (downstairs unit too of course) that can have an impact if you are super sensitive to noise! The upstairs unit is also listed on other short-term rental sites if you would like to take a peek at that one too!
Trash bins: There are two gray trash bins on side of house for regular trash. And there are two blue recycle bins also on side of house.
We are super happy that you`ve chosen us for your stay!! Welcome y`all! Now most of us don`t like rules .... I know, I know .... but .... at least we say it with a smile ... : )
So, let`s just lay this one out on the table right up front .... haha .... we don`t care what you smoke as long as you`re smoking it `outside`. We have zero tolerance for any type of smoking inside, including smoking through a cracked window or an open door. Now let`s move on with a few other items so that we can get to the fun stuff, you know, the purpose of your stay:
1). Our furry friends are like humans, and by the way, we love them too! We have a dedicated Poop Station in corner of back yard. Please use the poop bags provided to pick up after your pet and dispose in `green` waste receptacle in back yard. Please do not place poop bags in regular garbage cans nor the garbage receptacles provided by City of Dallas.
2). Our standard pet fee is $65 per pet for your entire stay.
3). Please be courteous of others in outside common areas and reduce outside noise to a minimum starting at 10:00 pm in the evening. Please remember that all three houses on the property are occupied by other short-term rental guests who want to have just as much fun or relax or carry-on or sleep as much as you do!
4). Please walk softly and remove shoes inside the home - oh darn it! Just know that they can be taken off at front/back entries to reduce noise - it`s part of the charm of a 1920s home with beautifully restored wood floors! They are both beautiful and can be a little `loud` - haha - to your neighboring guests!
5) At 10:00 pm until 7:00 AM, we have a noise-reduction curfew so that all guests are allowed to rest and enjoy themselves as much as we want you to enjoy yourself!
