Summary: The hotel itself has lots of nice features but lets itself down in some places. When we arrived at 8pm there were no food options available - not even snacks and we were told the restaurant was full. The spa was underwhelming - the outdoor hot tub was tepid and the bubbles weren’t working - we were told an engineer was coming, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. The breakfast options weren’t hugely varied - the smashed avocado tasted and looked like a pot of pre made guacamole, and English breakfast left a lot to be desired. The fruit salad was only melon and pineapple both mornings, so could have been more varied. However the service was good and our room was specious and clean. Overall I felt let down given we chose the hotel because of the spa.
