The house has been completely renovated and equipped with a sauna. The living area on the first floor is very cozy and offers a breathtaking view of the Ardennes. The spacious bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One of the rooms is specially designed for children and equipped with a loft bed, among other things. The house is situated on a slope and the garden to the south side is partly sloping. A high hedge guarantees your privacy. The balcony in front of the living room is very sheltered from the wind, so you can already enjoy the first sun rays of the year here. The cottage is a nice accommodation to just switch off and retreat, or to explore the Ardennes. This hilly landscape of the Ardennes is very beautiful for cycling, hiking as well as mountain biking, and kayaking is possible on the river Ourthe. The swimming paradise at the Residence Durbuy vacation park is within walking distance. In the town of Durbuy, with houses dating back to the seventeenth century, you can forget about time in the narrow, car-free streets, or just enjoy the sun on one of the many café terraces around the Grand Place. Great fun is a visit to the ruined castle of La Roche, where the spirit of Berthe still haunts. In Hotton you can visit the magnificent caves of 1001 Nights, a sight not to be missed. These caves were discovered only in 1957 and are therefore very well preserved. In Barvaux, which is 2 km away, there are some nice stores and supermarkets.
