Positive: We stayed here for a long stay in the summer, and we chose it because it was one of the few properties that had AC, which ended up being very necessary for the heat wave this summer. I'm so glad we chose this house. We loved our time here, and by the end it really felt like home. The house had everything we needed, and whatever was missing, the host Solange got it for us right away. She was the perfect host, never intrusive but very responsive. For example, we had an issue during our stay with the hot water heater, and even though it was on a holiday, they managed to fix it by the next day. They even provided a full cleaning in the middle of our stay since we were here for a longer time. A kind gentleman, Rene, provides maintenance for the property and comes on a regular basis to do whatever is needed. The house itself has three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs and one upstairs, a large kitchen with everything you need to fully cook, a washer, a very spacious clothesline outside, a beautiful backyard with fruit trees and patio furniture. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The shower downstairs was very nice. There is a bathtub upstairs. We loved the shades on the windows which were controlled by a switch in each room. The super large American style fridge with ice maker and filtered water was very convenient. There is room for 2 cars in the driveway, or you can park your car inside the gate as well. The house is only minutes by walking away from a large supermarket and a boulangerie, and the neighborhood it is in is quiet and charming, with lots of dogs and cats. There is also an organic farm just 9 min walking that has a farm store open to the public on Tuesdays and Fridays. It is about a half hour walk to downtown Macon, and just a few minutes drive to wineries, hiking, and many many restaurants.

Negative: Just one small issue with the AC upstairs is that the unit is only in the hallway, so you need to have your bedroom doors open to have AC in the bedrooms. There are quite a few mosquitos outside, so bring repellant.
