Back in the sixties, when the pioneers of surfing began to visit the island, Kahuna provided the first guesthouse on the west coast. It is just minutes from World Class Surfing Breaks, Magnificent Beaches, Amazing Restaurants, and Spectacular Snorkeling, with one of the worlds largest forest of Elk Horn coral, and yet it is secluded enough to provide peace and tranquility. The house was designed by cutting-edge New York architects, Big Prototype, with wall to wall glass windows, expansive terraces and louver window ventilation, which allows the North East Tradewinds to keep the house cool and comfortable throughout the year. Air conditioning is provided in all the bedrooms. Relax in the private pool while taking in the view of the Caribbean ocean. Get a workout in, in the privacy of your own house. Casa Kahuna boasts it's very own fitness studio, with a rowing machine, pull up bar, olympic bar with weights, kettle bells, wall balls, plyo boxes, jump ropes etc. The house has a back up generator and 700 gallon water cisterns in the event there is a disruption of service. Many other features include Sonos speakers throughout the house, recycled glass slabs, as wall panels, which glow in sunlight, murals and decorative concrete blocks that create scales of textures to create a tropical experience.
