Champagne House is a Champagne themed townhouse in the centre of Condom. The property has 3 suites and a large bedroom with en-suite and 5 bathrooms in total, all are well appointed with quality bed linen, towels and robes. There are lots of places to relax with two outdoor terraces, summer kitchen and a small pool. There is a welcome pack including a bottle of Champagne on your arrival.
All amenities are within walking distance e.g. restaurants, bars, cafes, parks, Cathedral, Armagnac museum, local distilleries, art exhibitions, swimming, walking, shops etc. A short drive and you can explore the many villages, abbeys and chateaux’s.
Built around 1760, this private house (340 m2) is steeped in history, but unfortunately the property had fallen into disuse and remained unoccupied. With a little love, care and attention in 2021 and 2022, this property has now been restored to its former glory, with its original architecture, parquet flooring, oak planks and character features. Today, the property has a champagne theme and features an eclectic mix of French antiques, contemporary pieces and Moroccan touches.
As you enter the house, you will find the Lanson library and hidden bar on your left and a large and very impressive lounge/living room with grand piano, on the right hand side of the hallway. At the end of the hallway is a dining room with a stone floor, there is also a small room with a washing machine and a large fridge freezer.
Outside you will find the courtyard (100m2). The covered terrace has vintage French/Moroccan touches, a summer kitchen with a fridge, plancha, table and chairs and a sitting area.
Further down the courtyard there is a small comfort pool (3.5 m * 2 m - depth: 0.80cm), a rockery and a sitting area leading to the stairs. The stairs lead to the upper terrace, with sun loungers, table and chairs, parasol, which opens onto the kitchen.
The upper floors are accessed by a spectacular cantilevered stone staircase, leading to the kitchen and bedrooms on the upper 3 floors.
