Summary: Pleasantly surprised- cabin 7 was a 2 bedroom fully self contained tiny house. Even had a bbq on verandah. Definitely value for money. Clean and tidy with extra blankets in cupboards. I personally found the bed a bit hard but that is probably just me. Advertised as beach /ocean views but more accurately described as glimpses of water through thick trees and undergrowth. We chose this accommodation from a very limited list. The Coalmine area was enroute for us and not a planned destination. Limited eating out options. The BP servo had a surprising good range of prepared meals for eat in or takeaway (not just burgers, full meals.) we didn’t realise that there was a tavern just out of town so ended up grabbing some Indian food from the motel in town. We would recommend either the tavern or BP servo for meals.
