The cottage is surrounded by farmland with a rich variety of wildlife including buzzards, greater spotted woodpeckers and weasels. The Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast stretches for fourteen miles from Aberthaw to Porthcawl with the coastal walk a breathtaking journey past cliffs, coves and sand dunes, with wildlife abound and rich in history.
