The twin room has an ensuite shower. Both bedrooms are made up with luxurious bedding and soft fluffy towels are also provided.

Arched windows and doors also lead onto a lovely south-facing patio, which provides glorious views of the Cleveland Hills and is complete with garden furniture, barbecue and a large lawn area. Gorgeous spring lambs can be found in these fields that will definitely keep you entertained, they are a favourite with children in the Easter holidays. There is a lovely pub in the nearest village which is one mile away and also a village shop. There are plenty of beautiful countryside walks directly from the cottage.

We are close to local attractions such as Auckland Castle, 'Kynren- an epic tale of England', Durham Castle and Cathedral, Beamish Museum, Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, Newcastle, Weardale and the Durham Coast. The Yorkshire Dales, High Force and Teesdale are also well worth a visit.
