A convenience store and Buchanan General Store are nearby and Burnet is only 15 minutes away if you want to visit Fort Croghan Historic Museum, the Hill Country Motorheads Museum, or buy groceries.
Originally a Texas Ranger's bunkhouse, this beautiful 1930s home retains all its original vintage charm from a location atop a cove shaped like a horse’s head. The full kitchen, along with the stone fireplace and large windows, gives you plenty of space to spread out, while the cozy cabin makes a perfect spot for kicking back after a long day in the sunshine. Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
