This house served as a stagecoach inn and tavern in the early 1800’s when it was a 2 story log cabin. It is on the National Registar of Historic Places. The home was once owned by Nimrod Long who was the banker shot by the Jesse James Gang during the robbery of the Southern Kentucky Bank in Russellville on March 20th 1868.
The home now boasts 4600 square feet with an additional 500sf of porches and separate garage. It has 5 bedrooms (one king, two queen, three full antique size, and one single bed), all linens supplied.
