The private cottage shares the grounds with the historic main residence. The Cantegril Country Club, considered to be one of the best golf courses in Uruguay is less than a 10 minute walk form the property. The historic 5 star L’ Auberge Hotel is also just a short walk away, for cocktails or to try their famous afternoon tea and waffles. One can walk through tree lined, meandering roads enjoying the beautiful architecture of some of the finest homes in Punta del Este. Just five blocks away, you can find the pristine South Atlantic ocean, Playa Brava, to walk for miles, swim, surf or sunbathe. Horses are available for rent nearby to ride along the beach and elsewhere. A short 5 minute drive will take you to the finest gourmet restaurants and coffee shops as well as to Punta del Este town center where you’ll find the marina with it’s sea lions, fish markets, wonderful dining, shopping, casinos and famed night clubs.
The guest house is spacious, light filled and has a charming ambiance, along with the convenience of high speed, fiber optic WiFi throughout. It is perfect for a couple, but the sofa could accommodate a third person. There is a living area and dining area open to the patio that overlooks the pool and flowering landscape and an organic herb and vegetable garden. The bedroom has a large flat screen TV with Netflix that one can watch from the comfort of the king sized bed, fitted with luxury linens. Enjoy the “parilla” the Uruguyan wood fired grill BBQ.
