The ground floor, 101 sq.m, is an open plan arrangement providing space and comfort, with large kitchen, dining area for eight, and generous sitting room. There is a separate small TV area with Humax satellite system to provide for separate entertainment. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
The first floor,101 sq.m, is accessed by a staircase from the ground floor hallway area, and provides for a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, double bedroom, and two further twin bedrooms served by a family bathroom with shower and bath. There is also a utility room with washing machine/dryer.
There are overhead fans to all bedrooms and sitting room, fast broadband throughout, and full central heating in the cooler months.
The finishes throughout are of high quality and attention to detail is ensured.
Externally, there is a large covered dining terrace with table and seating for 8 people. Beside is a BBQ area. Within the two-acre grounds there is a private swimming pool 10m x 5m with surrounding terrace and sun loungers and parasols. The grounds have mature trees and provides extensive shaded grounds.
Within view of the Céle River, known for trout and perch fishing, it is also easily accessible for a number of river side activities including kayaking and canoeing, or just peaceful picnics.
Just 5 minutes’ walk down the lane to the popular ‘La Belle Époque’ restaurant and conveniently close, to the beautiful medieval town of Figeac, with its bustling Saturday market and delightful shops and restaurants. Famous for its association with the Egyptologist Jean Francois Champollion, (who published the first translation of the Rosetta stone hieroglyphs in the 19th century) Figeac offers everything you need to experience a traditional French town.
Very conveniently located for easy access to many tourist spots, activities and places of interest such as Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac, Cahors, and St Cirq-Lapopie and is an ideal base for visiting the Lot, Dordogne and Célé river valleys for a choice of many activities.
